It has finally happened. I may be 24 but I just moved up from my old phone that made calls and texted, normal phone things, to an iPhone. Sure it's an older free one but the future is now. Did I mention that I really have no idea what I am doing on one of these. I'm pretty technologically advanced, hell I work on computers all day, but for some reason managed to skip over getting one of these damn things. Now that that's out of the way, what apps do I need?

I barely use apps, but there's a few I find useful. I'm on Android, but these still apply.

Google Maps - Maps, free, and always up to date

Soundhound/Shazam - Identify that song you hear on the radio, either one of these apps work.

Barcode Scanner - Scan barcodes.

If you're a facebook user, you can use the facebook app.

Dropbox and Evernote are two of my go-to apps. Also Plants vs. Zombies. :-)

coupled with an elm327 obd2 reader these will let you read and clear codes and so much more. invaluable if you have a 1996 and newer car
